KICKDRUM

A beatbox kick drum sound is a percussive vocal or mouth sound created by beatboxers, mimicking the deep and resonant thud of an actual kick drum. It’s achieved by forcefully expelling air from the mouth or throat while keeping the lips or vocal cords tense. The result is a low-frequency, bass-heavy “thump” sound that forms the rhythmic foundation in beatboxing, adding a sense of groove and providing a strong, rhythmic backdrop for other beatbox sounds and vocal effects. The kick drum sound is fundamental in various beatboxing patterns and compositions.

Kick (B)
– Make the b sound as if you are saying b from the word bogus.
– This time, with your lips closed, let the pressure build up.
– You need to control the release of your lips just enough to let them
vibrate for a short amount of time.
