Clarkceds began his beatboxing journey in mid-2019 at the age of 13, driven by his profound love for music and a determination to excel. He quickly established himself as a remarkable talent, becoming a Grand Beatbox Battle U18 Qualifier. As one-half of the beatbox tag team Rydric and a key member of the beatbox crew Obelisk, Clarkceds is on a mission to become one of the greatest beatboxers. He views beatboxing as a unique and powerful form of musical expression, relying solely on the human voice. This unmatched portability and personal touch make beatboxing stand out among musical instruments, and Clarkceds is dedicated to pushing his limits and reaching new heights in his art.

Clarkceds stands out as one of the most intense and formidable beatboxers in Singapore’s competitive beatboxing scene. His journey in beatbox battling has been marked by his exceptional inward bass technique, which has set him apart from his peers and fellow competitors. In 2023, Clarkceds claimed the title of vice champion at the Escension Beatbox Battle, the biggest beatbox event in Singapore. His electrifying performance at this event shook the stage, as he faced off against some of the highest-level beatboxers in the country, earning the judges’ admiration and the audience’s acclaim.

In addition to his success at Escension, Clarkceds also emerged victorious in the inaugural Primetime event, a monthly 7-to-Smoke battle organized by 555Beatbox. In this intense competition, he dominated his opponents with a clean sweep, showcasing his unmatched skill and tactical prowess. His ability to consistently deliver high-energy performances and innovative beats solidified his reputation as a top-tier competitor in the Singapore beatboxing community.

Perhaps most impressively, Clarkceds is among the few Singaporeans to have graced the stage at the Grand Beatbox Battle (GBB), the most prestigious beatboxing competition in the world. In 2023, he qualified for and competed in the Under 18 category, delivering an outstanding performance that left a lasting impression on the global beatboxing community. His participation in GBB not only demonstrated his exceptional talent but also highlighted his dedication to pushing the boundaries of his craft and representing Singapore on an international stage.

Together with Bryan, they became part of Obelisk, Singapore’s first official beatbox crew, further solidifying their presence in the local beatboxing scene.
 
As a performer, Clarkceds is renowned for his inward bass technique, which adds a dark, resonant undertone to his beats, creating a unique contrast to his cheerful personality. This distinctive style has made him a standout figure in the beatboxing community, allowing him to deliver powerful and memorable performances.
