Through rigorous training at The Republic Cultural Centre (TRCC), HandFX honed his skills and developed a commanding stage presence. His charismatic beatboxing ensures there’s never a dull moment during his performances.

Over the years, HandFX has built a reputation for his versatility and crowd control. His notable performances include Imagin Asia, where he collaborated with musicians from across Asia, including trumpeters, violinists, and erhu players. His ability to blend his beatboxing with different musical styles impressed both his peers and audiences. HandFX also performed at a Nas Daily meet-up, wowing the crowd with his dynamic skills and engaging stage persona. Additionally, he has performed at Singapore’s biggest nightclub, Marquee Nightclub, for the White Collar Ring boxing match halftime show, alongside Varen, another 555 artist.

More recently, HandFX continued to impress at significant events. He performed at the Keat Hong Countdown 2020 alongside his tag team partner Enkr, captivating over 10,000 attendees with their energetic performance. At the Singapore Motor Show, he performed with fellow 555 artists Minian and ClarkCeds at the OMODA E5 booth, further cementing his status as a seasoned and skilled performer who can command and captivate any audience.

HandFX has worked on many high-profile projects, showcasing his versatility and collaborative spirit. One notable project is “The Arts Can Inspire Your Everyday” campaign by the National Arts Council, where he performed alongside the Lorong Boys, a renowned classical group in Singapore. This campaign aimed to spread art throughout Singapore and gained significant traction. Another standout project involved a collaboration with a UK beatboxer, creating a unique collab video that spanned across the globe. HandFX is also an instructor at 555 Beatbox Academy and a key contributor to the creation of the 555 Quintet Syllabus, an effective method of teaching beatboxing. Within the academy, he teaches kids, youth, and adult classes, demonstrating his ability to engage and instruct across all age ranges. Additionally, he has been invited to teach workshops all over Singapore, including at the National University of Singapore KE Hall Acapella, Stirling University Acapella, Republic Polytechnic Library, and Anderson Secondary School Choir CCA, among others.

HandFX is a patient and dedicated educator who has taught hundreds the fundamentals of beatboxing, guiding some of Singapore’s best beatboxers to where they are now. He instills in his students a sense of confidence, discipline, and passion, ensuring the art of beatboxing will continue to thrive for generations to come.
