Last December, our very own beatbox crew, Obelisk, along with our talented loop master, Minian, had the incredible opportunity to perform at the prestigious Gardens by the Bay’s Electric Garden Festival. This event was a grand celebration of music and creativity, and our team took the stage alongside some of Singapore’s finest local hip-hop artists. Obelisk delivered an electrifying performance, showcasing their dynamic beats and innovative sounds, while Minian’s looping mastery captivated the audience. Their performances were a testament to the incredible talent within 555BeatboxSG, blending traditional beatboxing with modern flair to create an unforgettable experience.

Electric Garden is an event dedicated to the youth, and 555Beatbox was featured on their Hip-Hop Day. This special day brought together artists from all over Singapore to represent the hip-hop culture, a culture where beatboxing is celebrated as the 4th element. The inclusion of 555Beatbox in this lineup was a significant acknowledgment of our role in the local hip-hop scene and an honor for us to showcase our art on such a grand stage.

This performance at Electric Garden stands as one of the biggest stages 555Beatbox has graced to date, and we are deeply grateful for the opportunity. It was a defining moment for our crew, further establishing our presence in the hip-hop community and allowing us to share our passion for beatboxing with a wider audience.
